Hi friends,
As an avid sports fan, I always get excited about the NFL Super Bowl no matter who is in it. This year is particularly intriguing – the Kansas City Chiefs against the San Francisco 49ers.
I am not a fan of either team normally, but the storylines for this one are decent. The Chief’s QB Mahomes is coming off an injury as the season started so he was a bit of a question mark coming into the year. Once he arrived, the offense picked up where they left off last year and has been fun to watch. The 49ers are coming off a number of bad seasons and were a surprise this year. Their offense has been fantastic led by QB Garoppolo , TE Kittle, and RB Mosstert. The 49ers had a fairly easy time with Green Bay to get to the Super Bowl – Mosstert ran for 220 yards and 4 TDs chewing up the clock and allowing Garoppolo to only throw 8 passes in the game.
The Chiefs offense is powerful and may be too good, but I am pulling for the 49ers in this one.
The Super Bowl will be played on February 2nd at 3:30PM PST on Fox.
