The other day I did a post on the top uses of silver, and asked the following question:
What is the largest use of mined silver?
A. Investment purposes
B. Medicine (wound care, medical coatings)
C. Industrial applications (electronics, solar panels, etc)
D. Jewelry and silverware
E. Photography
The answer is C - Industrial applications!
Industrial applications make up 50%, followed by Jewelry/Silverware at 25%, Investments at 15%, and Medicare and Photography tied at 5%.
