Roosevelt Dollar

Hi friends,

I wanted to share an item from my coin collection. Today’s edition: a Roosevelt Dollar:

This Roosevelt Dollar is from 1972 and is from the Denver mint. The face value of this is $1.00, but they do carry a slight premium, so it is worth about $1.25-$1.50… not a bad ROI if you get it for face value.

These sorts of coins are a piece of Americana and are nostalgic for me personally, which is why I have some in my collection.
