I have to agree... my wife’s family is filled with law enforcement officers who are fantastic people. Yes, I have been pulled over a bunch of times and given speeding tickets and have had disagreements with them in the past (such as skateboarding tickets, etc) but it’s always respectful and keeping the peace and enforcing laws isn’t always easy or fun for them either. They put their lives on the line each day and too many lose their life in the line of duty. I certainly know there are some bad apples, and I believe they should be punished the same or more severely than others based on their position of authority. What a tough job to be in though, and I appreciate hearing your perspective!
