When I saw commercials for the new Modelo Oro, I had to give it a try. Of course, “oro” in Spanish means “gold” so if you are going to claim something is gold, it better be good.
It is a light beer, and I am not a fan of most light beers, so I passed on getting a 12 pack, and instead, bought a single tall can:
It barely fit in my coozie, lol. As far as the taste goes, I would say it is about what most light beers taste like, perhaps a bit better, but not a gold standard by any means.
