Mint ID

I wanted to to share an item from my precious metals stack and let you know why I am a holder. Today’s edition: a one ounce silver round by Mint ID:

This is a nice looking buffalo with the a security feature by Mint ID. One concern that gold and silver investors face is counterfeit items that are not really gold/silver. Mint ID attempts to mitigate that risk with these rounds, which connect to an app and authenticate that the particular item is legitimate.

An interesting concept for sure and the extra security can’t hurt!
