Hi All,
I have a friend who is an avid metal detector. He is a bit older than me, and he and his adult son go out metal detecting from time to time. He says they have a lot of fun, and often find things that have a little value – old coins, gold rings, silver jewelry, etc. He is encouraging me to give it a try!
Well, I have too many hobbies as it is – golfing, woodworking, fishing, gold prospecting, etc., but, of course, I am intrigued, and metal detecting is piquing my interest. But with soo many hobbies and too little time, I am hesitant to add another hobby that I spend money on, but rarely do.
So, as much as it pains me to say it, I am interested in metal detecting, but feel I should actually participate in more of my other hobbies before picking up another one.
Just saying that sounds lame to me… perhaps I should add it to my Christmas list for Santa!
Do any of you do any metal detecting?
