This post is an entry into the weekly Show Us Your California contest hosted by @thesocalhive where we show an aspect of our California.
People in the Los Angeles area love their entertainment and are willing to pay for it. One of the newer trends (largely thanks to covid) are pay to view drive through light shows. Here is one example:
There have always been a couple of prominent ones, the biggest perhaps is the the Lights at the Zoo which is at the Los Angeles Zoo, but now there are quite a few people can pay to see. They are not cheap either, usually around $75 per car, so make sure you pack it in, lol.
These are fun for our family, though we usually do not go to more than two per season.
