I wanted to share an item from my precious metals stack and let you know why I am a holder. Today’s edition, fractional silver:
While silver is certainly cheap compared to gold, I still think there is a place is a silver stack for fractional silver. Having fractional silver makes it more easy to sell in smaller denominations, and in the event of world financial crisis, fractional silver could potentially be used to pay for things with greater flexibility than whole ounces.
Of course, buying fractional is more expensive, so I only add fractionals when the price is right. One thing I would like to add to the stack is tubes of fractional silver, but it is not something I have bought before now.
What’s your opinion on fractional silver?
