Hi Friends,
I love coffee and enjoy it every day:
I used to make single serving Keurig coffee at home and then drink more at my office. However, since the pandemic hit and I am working from home, I had to bring out the coffee pot to make it more economical as the k-cups are a bit expensive. I have been brewing about 8 cups per day out of the possible 12 cups in the coffee pot. My wife usually drinks 1 cup and I drink the other 7 cups. It turns out that Mr. Coffee's cup is only 5 ounces (instead of the usual 8) so that means I am drinking around 35 ounces of coffee per day - seems a little high!
I did some research and a study by USA Today said that a male my age is OK to drink 3 - 5 cups of 8 ounce coffee - that means I am close to the high end, but still good! I drink my coffee black so the study did mention that it is not nearly as good to drink that much if you add a lot of cream, sugar, etc.
I think its time for another cup of coffee...
Thanks for coming by,
Brian
