Hi friends,
This post is an entry into the weekly Show Us Your California contest hosted by @thesocalhive where we share an aspect of our California.
I have a few elderly family members who are suffering from Alzheimer’s and Dementia. It is hard to watch these diseases progress in their lives and their quality of life diminish.
My family did a charity walk the other day in support of Alzheimer’s and Dementia research.
We did some fundraising and participated in the event. They gave different color flowers to how people have been affected by the diseases. We had the yellow flower, which represents people who are caring for people with the diseases.
It was a strong show of support and many dollars were raised. All in all, a good day, and a good cause to support.
Thanks for coming by and checking out a piece of my California.
Brian
