Yesterday, I headed out of the office a bit early and went to a Los Angeles Dodgers baseball game with a couple of my co-workers!
We had good seats, and enjoyed some hot dogs and beer. It was actually my first Dodgers game of the season, and the season is almost over - it is hard to justify the cost of going to the games these days between the high priced tickets, $25 parking and $18 beers... it adds up quick!
It was a beautiful evening weather wise last night. The Dodgers lost 8-7 in extra innings after the closer blew a 2 run lead in the 9th. I hate to complain, but I believe the game was over 5 hours long, mostly due to too many pitching changes and too much time in between pitches - much too long!
Overall, a great time at the ballpark though, and I look forward to seeing how my team does in the playoffs!
