Gold Prospecting

Hi friends,

I was overdue to head to the mountains and get some gold, so I got the chance to do so earlier this week. My friend @derekrichardson was also able to head into the mountains, so it was cool to do some digging with him.

We were at the trailhead at 6:45am and hiked in to a spot and got right to work. The water was high, fast and murky, so conditions were tougher than usual. Gold prospecting is a good workout and this day was no exception.

We were back at the trucks at around 5pm and the weather was perfect in the mountains.

My efforts were rewarded with some shiny gold for my pocket as well:
