Hi friends,
I have good news to report on the gardening front, as the plants are doing well!
The cherry tomato plant is starting to gain in size, and though there are no tomatoes growing just yet. The basil plant is getting larger too, and the leaves are starting to look edible – I need to research on the proper harvesting of a basil plant!
The most exciting thing though is that the jalapeno plant is thriving, and has sprung a large number of peppers! Check them out:
I was able to harvest my first pepper, and sautéed it on the stovetop with some sliced onions and put it on top of some chicken… so good! Here is the first pepper of the year:
I am having fun and happy to have begun reaping the rewards of my garden! Good stuff!
Take care,
Brian
