Hi friends,
Our family really enjoyed our time in Hawaii. We stayed with some other family as well, and my wife and I snuck out for a day of hiking - two hikes in one day!
We did the Koko Crater Railway hike first, which was an intense uphill climb on rail road tracks, which were from World War II as it was a lookout spot. This took about 1.5 hours, with a half hour hangout at the summit.
We then switched it up for a tropical jungle hike called the Kalaahine Trail. This was through the lush mountain, and put you to an amazing lookout spot. The trial was muddy, but worth it… of course, the pictures do not do it justice:
A great time hiking on Oahu!
Thanks for coming by,
Brian
