Look into investing or opening a business to gain residency. Up until last month you could have just put 5k into a bank account in Panama, and you could have residency. In Ecuador you just have to buy a house or land for 40k. In the USA all you need to do is have a house/asset worth 1m+ to get a E2 visa to stay permanently. If I were you I would not spend 20k on residency in Canada right now, I would spend 20k on Bitcoin. Stack Bitcoin and chill.
