Though the New Testament teaches something different for Christians, many believe the Sabbath is the seventh day.
In Hebrews 4,God choosed a different day for believers which is not the Sabbath Moses and Joshua gave to the Israelites.
Apostle Paul explained this to the Hebrews, and these Hebrews were the First Keepers of the Sabbath.
God would not have spoken of a different day if the Sabbath given by Joshua was final, this is seen in Hebrews 4:8.
This implies that the Sabbath given by Moses was supposed to end one day.
When Jesus Christ came, a change also took place in the law.
A change priesthood mandated a change in the law, this is confirmed in Hebrews 7:12.
Presently, believers follow the peace found Jesus Christ and His teachings, and the Sabbath under Moses has ended.
