I am not too sure it will. I did read somewhere that it is a crop grown in many parts of America as well. But then again I am still trying to wrap my head around the fact that everything freezes once a year LOL
I also have turmeric on my porch, but I am not sure when I am supposed to be harvesting it. It's been growing for two years now, last year the plant leaves all died down, and I thought that was the end of its road, but a month later the leaves shot right back up.
