We are at a point in our existence where consumerism is at an all time high! And while this problem stems globally, its far more noticeable here in the states where we have quite literally become a consumer nation and its growing. And what its doing to the environment, the animals that call this planet home as well and to one another is frightening to say the least.

We truly must change course. Sure, you, me and many of you that i hope will read this, will be long dead before the effects are truly felt but what about your children? Do you not care what type of planet you are leaving them!?!
We are cutting down trees which eat carbon dioxide and produce the very oxygen we breath.
Our rivers, streams, lakes and oceans are contaminated and radiated. Not are we killing off marine life at an alarming rate we are quite literally destroying the 2nd most important element we need to survive!! Do you honestly think your faucets will push out clean water forever???
We are allowing chemicals and toxic metals to be sprayed all over our skies (which is your real reason for rising temperatures; but thats another discussion_) destroying the number 1 element we need to survive.
We allow companies to spray extremely dangerous chemicals on our food, not only hurting us but the very soil we must have to grow the 3rd most important element we need to survive.
And what we are doing to the other inhabitants is down right murder..we kill these animals senselessly and for what? A new purse? Another pair of shoes? Interior in a car?? We have no more of a right here than they......
But hey......
Heres an idea of some of the drastic changes that could happen ...and no, im not saying the earth will stop spinning...but low oxygen levels, radiation spikes and the inability to grow food.....
These issues CANNOT be fixed by politicians and world leaders. They MUST be fixed by us!!
Enjoy....
