The fascinating story of the video game Moonshades takes place in the depths of the Greydawn Mountains of the once flourishing Kingdom of Harten. Where a dark, unknown and mysterious portal, with all its demonic violence, has taken hold. A couple of brave warriors undertake the adventure of confronting infernal creatures, living skulls of dead warriors, and fabulous beasts. Who have made their violent appearance under the full red moon of the chaos god Okrin. And who restrict access through the subway passages that have been left beneath the ruined cities. Our heroes are forced to use all the magic and wisdom, legacy of their ancestors, to be able to understand difficult secrets and stop the malevolent dangers that loom over their already precarious kingdom.
Undoubtedly, what Viktor Domonyi has achieved with the gameplay of the role-playing game MoonShades is epic. A dungeon exploration RPG, in first person, with an unbeatable arrangement of functional controls on the screen, that intertwines action and adventure, and that will make us pleasantly evoke the RPG Dungeon Crawler of yesteryear. It will be very interesting to build up, through a magical forge, our duo of changelings. There we will find ancient gems, combat accessories, spells to improve the weaponry, recipes and magic potions to strengthen us. Along the way we will have to solve puzzles, discovering secret places and dodging deadly traps. However, to be able to successfully overcome these lugubrious spaces, we must not forget to learn the map to the letter.
The atmosphere of the time, the subway spaces and the characters is simply fantastic. The graphics of the video game MoonShades achieves, through aesthetics, its artistic goal. Immerse the player in fabulous combats inside "real medieval dungeons.
Similarly, the soundtrack accompaniment is not far behind. It leaves, throughout the entire video game, a wide trail of good taste, accurate musical selection and high quality sounds. En ese sentido, fue muy gratificante encontrar el excelente trabajo que ha realizado, el desarrollador independiente, Viktor Domonyi al dise帽ar el videojuego MoonShades. La distribuci贸n de esta genial pieza de juego estuvo a cargo de Baldrick Soft RPG Games. Y aqu铆 me detengo un poco, a modo muy personal, para resaltar la humildad y la pasi贸n que emanan de las siguientes palabras: "...Aunque trabajo a jornada completa (no en la industria del videojuego), tambi茅n soy desarrollador independiente y jugador. Sin lugar a dudas, es 茅pico lo que ha logrado Viktor Domonyi con la jugabilidad del videojuego de rol MoonShades. Un RPG de exploraci贸n de mazmorras, en primera persona, con una inmejorable disposici贸n de controles funcionales en la pantalla, que entrelaza la acci贸n y la aventura, y que nos va hacer evocar gratamente los RPG Dungeon Crawler de anta帽o. Ser谩 muy interesante ir armando, a trav茅s de una forja m谩gica, a nuestro d煤o de cambatientes. All铆 encontraremos antiguas gemas, accesorios de combates, hechizos para mejorar el armamento, recetas y p贸cimas m谩gicas para fortalecernos. En el camino tendremos que ir resolviendo rompecabezas, descubriendo lugares secretos y esquivando trampas mortales. Sin embargo, para poder sortear con 茅xito estos espacios lugubres no debemos olvidarnos de aprendernos el mapa al dedillo.
La ambientaci贸n de la 茅poca, los espacios subterr谩neos y de los personajes es sencillamente fant谩stica. El apartado gr谩fico del videojuego MoonShades logra, a trav茅s de la est茅tica, su objetivo art铆stico. Sumergir al jugador en fabulosos combates dentro de "verdaderas mazmorras" medievales.
De igual forma, el acompa帽amiento de la banda sonora no se queda atr谩s. Va dejando, a lo largo de todo el videojuego, una amplia estela de buen gusto, acertada selecci贸n musical y de sonidos de alta calidad. Un trabajo sonoro impecable que se agradece, y que viene a encajar, en el tablero del juego Moonshades, otra de las piezas claves que conforman y complementan toda esta obra.
