The Petro was scorned by the international community, the the President was or may have been ousted depending who is talking.
And now they are introducing a Tax on transfers withing the country.
No mention has been made of sending BTC overseas and then having it sent back to the destination.
Being global BTC is something that would be very difficult for Nations to tax, especially with so much crypto being anon.
Time will tell if Taxing Crypto works or just sends the transactions offshore.
