The organisation that has been applying rules & regs to the crypto industry have just put out a call for help to look at and analyse blockchains.

What does that say about what they have been doing to date?
What does it say about their internal expertise?
What does that say about their knowledge of blockchains?

It would seem like the Blind have been leading the, well the awake really.
How can an organisation dictate rules and control something it does not know about.

The other part of this it would seem that the SEC are looking to gather details about accounts used on the blockchain.
Why would they need this information?
From whom will they obtain it? How?
Assuming a great many crypto addresses are anon, the only ownership information is held in KYC databases of exchanges.

Given the F_bi were just handed the complete database of a DNA company, what could be the purpose in the SEC seeking user data?
