Has the USA or more specifically the US$ had it's day as the global currency?
Up until the end of WW2 the UK pound held that role.
Perhaps the SEC & co have pushed the rules & regulations so far in an aim to control crypto, that they have made the rest of the world leap frog them.
Time will tell
