After years of promoting Squares cash app Jack has made some interesting comments in regards to BTC.
Certainly Cash app is fairly popular and an interesting way to send cash to another person.
A competitor to paypal and others, it has around 7m users apparently, which seems like a very low number considering how long it has been around, over 12mth now, with the marketing efforts that have been expended.
Having an account on Cash app is like a bank account for those that live in a location that does not have such things.
And the support for using BTC is also a good thing.
What is interesting is Jack's comments in regards to BTC becoming the "native currency" on the internet.
Which raises the question of how is cash app better than a normal crypto wallet, that it competes with?
Certainly is supports fiat as well as BTC which most crypto wallets do not.
And it can send money to a normal bank account.
A plastic card is available.
But the big draw back is it is only USA. A country with only 4% of the global population. The other 96% will probably just use a crypto ewallet, without the linking to fiat, visa cards and providing personal details to an organisation, whos products seem to suffer many hacks & breakins
Time will tell
