EOS was looking like it would be the new generation platform for transactions, and was launched with much fanfare.
Having left steem & moved onto EOS, this report indicates that he has a new venture in mind, MonerEOS.
Intended to be simply(?) a monetary coin.
Whilst creating ICO's & coins was commonplace a year ago, with all the SEC & regulatory currently being faced in the industry, it will be interesting to see how this new coin navigates the paperwork.
Time will tell
