Philippians 4:6 Don't fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns.
Human wants being insatiable makes it hard for man to be totally free from worry. In Matthew 6:7, Jesus asks an important questions, can you make your own hair grow by one cubit just by worrying?
The Bible says that every labor, there is a profit (Proverbs 14:3). This suggests that any effort that does not give you a return on energy expended is a waste, and whatever saps your energy is an enemy.
Worry fits into both descriptions. That is why you must see it as worthless today.
Whenever you observe a need in your life, turn your thoughts into a prayer. No matter how many times the thoughts resurface continue to verbalize it as a prayer to God until your faith reaches a point of certainty, when you know that God has answered. This is the wisdom to suppress worry .
I have personally seen the efficacy of these verse :
Philippians 4:6 Don't fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns.
Philippians:4.7
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
When you pray in faith knowing that God hears you and is ever ready to help , that consciousness is the peace that surpasses all understanding. There is a whole lot happening around us, but that shouldn't cause us to worry . Worry steals your peace instantly, what is a man without his peace.
This season, be wise as you convert your object of worry into a subject matter in prayer, God would begin to lift the burden off you and give you a fresh supply of strength to do exploits this year. Amen!
