EXCELLING: Pay the price for success & make every second count
For the past four days I had issues with my gadget that made me inconsistent on online, but I learnt something from my house clock; it is to continue moving and never stop moving forward . The issue has been fixed.
Today I want to talk on paying the price for success. Success in life will always come at a price and only those who are willing to pay the price will excel. I can remember vividly my first year in the University, I had to offer Calculus as a compulsory course, this same calculus I ran away from in high school. I spoke to a friend telling her my phobia for the course, she told me to open my mind to learn to course by going for tutorials and assume it is biology( my favorite course) .
When I started the tutorials I was not consistent with it course, because a part of me didn't like the course. I had to finally open my mind to it. I loved the course at the end and I came out with a grade C- 59 and extra effort would have gotten me a B. But I didn't pay the price for success.
When it comes to succeeding you should have a red hot appetite for it, because nothing good comes easy. Let look at the next step.
MAKE EVERY SECOND COUNT
From my story above, though I started the tutorials as adviced by friend, I didn't make make every second count by being consistent. For every second spent is irredeemable, it is gone and gone forever. But a wise man is one who makes every time count.
In and outside the walls of steemit in 2018 make every minute count by
°Cutting off excesses
°Investing every second of your day into that which will give you desired results.
An excellent person is conscious of time, sounding it into our consciousness that time is of essense and yet limited. Time mastery makes you a master of life.
You have to train yourself to manage your time better because time is life.
In fact, what makes a man a slave is his inability to dominate and control his time.
Hence, many are placed under the control and authority of others to control their time.
As a steemian who wants to excel in 2018 , I have learnt to set time bound goals and work towards delivering results to time.
