This is a follow-up to a previous post
The fires have gained momentum. We drove to about a mile from the fire sight (as the crow flies) and watched helicopters drop water in the flames with enviable precision. These pilots have crazy skills making runs all day and I am thankful for their competence and service.
The roads are lined with cars pulling over for people to watch and take pictures. Below are a few new shots I took this evening.
