Had fun at a special Kansai, Japan travel event at Prahran Market in South Yarra, Melbourne the other day. Kansai is the region of Japan that contains Kyoto, Nagoya, Osaka, and Kobe so there was lots of region-specific food such as Kansai sake and takoyaki (octopus balls).
I barely went to Kansai while I was living in Tokyo. Think I'll do a few trips next time I'm in the country. Have you ever been to Kansai? Let me know in the comments!
