ANNOYED

This is a side of me that you don't see from Mr. Positive very often. But as I was doing my Hive and LeoFinance thing this evening I got annoyed. I am not now. It does not last long. Maybe because I trained myself to be positive.

It is the same old story. I story I use to belong to until I found and then understood Hive.

People don't want to put in the effort. People want to get rich quick. When they don't they look for the next pot of gold. People are uneducated about things and to lazy to get educated.

People, even if they don't know why they are doing it, give criticism, complain, to make themselves feel better. It is easier to them than getting educated and understanding.

That is why there is the "1 percent" and the "99 percent" in the world.

The 1 percent are willing to put in the effort and get educated. Take a look at the 1 percent on Hive. Take a long hard look and see what they have in common. I bet you 99 percent of the people reading this won't. Get my point 👉?

BBH

as a person trying to build something, something that I believe is going to be awesome as time goes on. It sometimes gets disheartening to see slow growth and and people selling their tokens.

Then I remind myself. If someone is selling, someone is buying, someone sees my vision. And I smile. I know I have the correct approach, slow and steady wins the race.

LEOFINANCE

I keep reading how the Leo team is so exited in how well their DHF is doing. And good on the.. CLICK HERE to Vista and support the DHF.

It is currently at 69 percent supported.

But as always there are people that don't get it, don't understand what they are trying to do so they had to write a follow up post to explain. New Hive Onboarding Flow for LeoInfra Hive Lite Accounts.

Now don't get me wrong, the more information the better. Repeating ourselves on the blockchain is needed.

But I bet you that a lot of the people that had criticism about the DHF even after reading this new post, still will.

If you have not guessed it yet, I am 100 percent behind what the Leo teams I'd doing, trying to do and their DHF.

I am going to quote a few things that I did not know before the follow up post. And how awesome I think it is.

"It's easy to sign up a bunch of users and not retain them. The hard part is signing them up and then retaining them on a monthly basis. LEO has a number of ways we plan to do this ranging from financial incentives using the LEO & HIVE tokens to social incentives to engagement contests."

Damn strait. I been around the block for 30 plus years before the blockchain and retention is the hardest part. The number one way to get people and keep them is with financial incentives.

Below is the negative reaction they where/are getting.

"The main pushback we've seen is "why should the DHF pay to advertise 1 dApp and not the whole Hive ecosystem?""

The team goes on to explain how this is going to benefit Hive, thus in turn benefiting all Hive users and dapps. The more retained users the better for all of us.

"The Hive blockchain has tried broad-based marketing for itself in the past. It hasn't worked all that well in terms of actually onboarding Monthly Active Users."

How true. I have seen it , experienced it. With my 4 year anniversary on the blockchain coming up.

"The Key - again - is to create a unified and simplified onboarding flow for new users. We want to give them a super familiar experience in the beginning and then slowly deepen their activities on the Hive ecosystem."

I could go on all night quoting the post. But I hope you got my point by now.

FINAL THOUGHTS

Everyone talks about growing Hive. As to be expected, sadly, few do much. Myself included. I suck at onboarding.

The Leo team got a sound plan. They have vision. The 99 percent of us that do not have that vision should at least have vision enough to support the DHF.

We can all pick up our lazy fingers and support a project.

The future is bright, it is in our hands. Let's do this. Do it together. Get educated and the complaining was stop naturally.

Bradley

P.s. sorry to the Leo team for using peakd communities to post and not the Leo UI. But most of my Leo post are on Mobile and I am still having UI issues.

To Task sorry for no Leo glossary links in this one. Time got away from me and my grandson wants my time. Lucky I got this post done.
