In these winter weeks, the first sign that spring is yet to come comes from the cherry blossoms. Our neighborhood in Curitiba is called "Garden of the Americas" and is the residence of many Japanese and Oriental descendants. This square is entirely dedicated to honoring these descendants and therefore has so many cherry trees planted.
In a few days, the second warning that spring is approaching will be given by the flowers of Ipê Amarelo, a tree typical of the Brazilian Cerrado.
