My sister just found out she is losing here job, but not outright being fired, she is getting a severance package and stuff. The funny thing is, she has been working remotely for about five years now, living in Michigan, but working for a company in Indiana. Part of me wonders if they just wanted to bring everything back in house, or if some of it had to do with AI taking over parts of her job. Or a little bit of both. I really need to start learning more about this AI stuff.
