Despite the fact that I use Windows a lot at work, I try to avoid Microsoft stuff as much as possible. I never really cared for Skype, but after they got bought by Microsoft, I really didn't care for them. My biggest issue is the fact that Gates obviously cared more about making money than putting out a quality product. Earlier versions of Windows (ME anyone) are clear evidence of that. As for his philanthropic projects, I have a big issue with the exclusions they make. Focusing mainly on inner city areas, this cuts out those poor rural communities that could really take advantage of the grant funds.
