I used to know a girl from Laos back in the day. I am still friends with her on Facebook, but I don't really talk to her too much. I'm actually not sure she ever lived in the country, but her family did. Huge family. She had like 7 or 8 brothers and sisters and now she has about that many kids of her own. Sounds like you dodged a bullet not moving to Singapore.
