I remember when the automakers all had their issues and part of the reason I decided to start buying Ford stock was because they didn't take a bailout. Meanwhile, my Ford stock has been sitting steady around the $5 to $15 mark and people who bought GM for pennies on the dollar when it relaunched are quite wealthy... :P
