Our dog was basically our daughter and everyone keeps asking my wife and I when we plan to get another one. We don't. I just don't have the room in my heart for another dog and I wouldn't want to go through that devastation again. If it makes you feel better, you are still doing better than me when it comes to running. I can only handle 4 mph for about two or three minutes before I have to stop because my legs are burning and it is too hard to breathe!
