That definitely sounds like a nightmare! Sounds best just to stay in the US, though I get a little freaked out when I have to lay over in Atlanta :). We are heading to Texas in October and I think we got a direct flight on that one. I've never flown business class and I only got to fly first class once. We got bumped up and it was a worthless 15 minute connecting flight from our local airport down to Detroit :P
