That title is a question I ask my wife at least once a week this time of year. The NFL regular season starts tonight, so that means fantasy football players all over the world will be making those final adjustments and shuffles before the action starts.
Of course, you can make changes to your team at any time, but if you waited this long to check you are likely going to find yourself in a tough spot. I'll be the first to admit that I am one of those people.
With Tom Brady as my starting quarterback, I have been hesitant to do too much adjusting to my roster right now. It appears he has been having some family issues away from the field and I am waiting to see if that is going to impact his in-game performance.
I'd like to think he is a professional and he should be able to separate the two, but he did graduate from U of M, so honestly I don't think I can count on him for anything at this point. Even though many consider him the GOAT, I have still had my issues with having drafted him.
Sure, his team wins games (and Superbowls), but I've always felt his numbers in the past have been pretty average at best. It just goes to show you how important it is to have a good team surrounding the quarterback.
There are other QB's that are more dynamic and put up huge numbers each week. The fact is, if they aren't mobile or they don't pass a ton, they are not going to score you many points. Being just about as old as I am, Brady is definitely not mobile. I also feel like they have been relying on their running game a lot more lately. That doesn't bode well for me and my fantasy team.
Add to that the fact that he and his wife are at odds and it could be a really bad fantasy year for me.
"Not much different than most other years then" you might say!
