@boyerobert original.
Here is a view of Mont-Royal where you can see the beautiful St. Joseph Oratory. This structure was completed in 1967, feel like a lifetime ago.
I decided to treat myself and get a nice zoom lens which I have been debating on for over a month. Tamron 150-600mm G2, Sigma 150-600, and the Nikon 200-500mm. From the reviews and what I read, it would appear that each of these lens have pros and cons, however, I decided to go for the Nikon as the lens is way sharper & the bokeh it generates far superior than the latter lens. Logically, if I need to get closer, I can always move, were sharpness is a physical attribute of the lens, can't change that.
Decided to play around a little and try and take a picture of the St. Joseph Oratory from the island where I live. The sky appeared to be clear however there was a haze over the island of Montreal, causing some blur in the pictures. From where I was standing the St. Joseph Oratory is 24.85 kilometres away.
Picture was taken with my Nikon D850, lens 200-500mm
Thanks!!
Best regards,
