Ethereum Classic (ETC) saw a 40% spike in price, bringing the cryptocurrency to an all new high of $44.94USD. The coin since dropped roughly 14% after it’s spike, and currently sites at $36.91.
Ethereum Classic isn’t the only cryptocurrency seeing large gains today. Dogecoin more than doubled in price, Bitcoin Cash saw a 30% rise, Chillz rose 35%, and other altcoins saw some great success. Larger players such as Bitcoin and Ethereum slumped today, with Bitcoin falling 5% at it’s low point Friday.
