I do sign my name to the posts I write. I just post them through a different account, one that is a community account, so there is no way for anyone to know if I've written the posts or not without either reading them all the way to their ends or quickly scrolling to their final words.
It has been interesting watching how these posts have been received in views, votes, and comments, and it has somewhat reacquainted me with the struggles and doubts that new writers have on this platform. When you're starting from scratch, it's not easy, and it takes a lot of work to get your footing, probably a lot more than most people imagine when they sign up here.
Everyone needs to decide what they can do well and how much activity they can maintain here with the time, tools, and skills that they have. With a little reflection, a plan, and some perserverance, I truly feel like anyone can reach a moderate level of success on this platform.
Now that I've said that, let me digress, because I've gotten a little off track. The reason that I have been dabbling in the area of ghost writing is that I have been writing for a joint account that is shared by other Steemians living in the same city as I do, most of whom are new to Steemit and trying to find their roles and their audiences. While I do think that anyone can make it here on their own, a little help along the way never hurt anyone.
If you've been a fan of my writing in the past, I encourage you to look for my writing on @steemcityniigata posts as well. I also encourage you to have a look at the content of the other fabulous writers contributing to our account.
Remember, a vote for one of us is a vote for all of us. That is how we in SteemCityNiigata are trying to look out for each other and help the minnows grow.
