(PS I know the 5-2 on Cannonball was next to impossible to get, there was some 9-4 around, but I'll record the win as 2-1)
A strong finish has seen us record a very handsome profit for the month, boosting the size of bets we could use for July.
2:25 Newcastle 5. Kimberella 5 pts @ 5-1 Hills, Bet365, Coral, Boyles
A strong bet to start with.
He's the only one of the principles with any recent and meaningful form on the aw surface and that form shows 2 wins from 2 runs this year.
4:15 York 6. White Rosa 3 pts @ 3-1 BetStars, BetVic, Paddy Power
6 runners here, and I wouldn't rule any of them out for certain.
For me though, White Rosa should be a clear favourite after her debut on good to soft ground.
6:55 Doncaster 8. Ptarmigan Ridge 11-8
Rather a short price here. Shame.
Could have persuaded me to have a decent bet on this one if the price was bigger, but it's too risky at such short odds.
