Give me that old time religion,
Give me that old time religion,
Give me that old time religion,
It's good enough for me.

It was good for Paul and Silas,
It was good for Paul and Silas,
It's good enough for me. [Refrain]

2 It was good for the Hebrew children,
It was good for the Hebrew children,
It was good for the Hebrew children,
It's good enough for me. [Refrain]

It was good for our mothers,
It was good for our mothers,
It's good enough for me. [Refrain]

Our song today in church was more old time song than contemporaries, it remind s me of those good old days of songs, simple and easy sang in revivals, revivals that changed the course of history in Nigeria at large and sent a shock wave of awareness of the name of Jesus down the spine of all those who needs to hear and be saved.
And true to its name, many were saved to the fold of Christ, it was a time of good old time religion, a time for spiritual revivals. The old time religion era, and the power is still available till now.
