[The Street Overlooking Where It All Happened]

I have once been on a blind date, it was a very shy experience and funny at the same time.

Church Holy Valentine Party 馃帀
The year was 2015, and my church was preparing a valentine party before February, my sister is a pure extrovert, while I am the opposite, she also hold a position then as a youth exco, which made her to be at the forefront of things. This also draws little attention to me as a guy, girls want to associate with me, as a leverage to get into my sister to be there friends. I, on the other hand take no interest.
The valentine day came and all was going well, there were many games played on that day and it got to a point where you have to process your love to someone you think you're in love with.

Before I could think of anything blank, a lady stood up, Rita by name and said she loves me and will want us to dance, oh my God!, I was frozen, my sister was happy (my brother is getting a boyfriend), the whole youth went agog and aghast by what was happening, I was speechless, what's happening.

Despite the fact that I knew this girl, yes, we are in the choir together, I take no interest.

The youth took it upon themselves to sponsor us on a blind date, it was in a Mr Biggs. It went so well and I was just nodding my head to all what this over exuberant extrovert girl was saying, mum made sure my sister followed me to ensure things didn't go out of hand, I got home refreshed and was just waohed by it.

I and the girl later got back on days later, it was a thing that lasted me years, the friendship from there took like two years before it fizzled off. She went to a university and I lost touch, later the parent changed church too while we are still there for years.

Later got to know she was married, with kids now, I wish her well. I haven't been on a date since then. I feared it. I prefer a low key life.
