The Commander, IGP Arms Mop Up Team & Deputy Commissioner of Police Operations in Rivers State DCP STEPHEN HASSO led his Team to Special Area Division venue of the 1st Mop Up in Obio-Akpor, he was received by the Area Commander Choba, ACP PATRICK DAAOR & the LGA Chairman Hon NOBLE AMADI.
The DCP thanked the Public for responding to the Mop & promised to ensure the streets is Free from illegal arms, he also warned that failure to take advantage of this opportunity will result in arrest & prosecution.
The Team will continue with a visit to Degema LGA, stay on this Space for more information on the mop up.
Too many Guns in the Street, if you have any form of Arms in your Possession take advantage of the Mop Up & Surrender them without arrest or Implications.
