Spotted in Munich: McDonald’s HQ and a Pretty Solid Chart

I’m in Munich for the Allianz Annual General Meeting, and later in the evening I head out to grab something to eat. And what do I spot? The German headquarters of McDonald’s right across the street with a flagship store right next door. It actually looked pretty impressive.

The $MCD chart isn’t looking bad either: a clean move from the bottom left to the top right, up about +117%, plus the dividend on top. Solid performance, even if the S&P has done quite a bit better overall.

Tomorrow should get interesting as well, with the company reporting its latest quarterly results. Curious to see, could this give the stock, which has been a bit weak lately, another push?
