Correction Incoming?
What a bloody Friday! The week ended deep in the red, with the S&P, Gold, Bitcoin, pretty much everything, closing lower. The $SPX finished the week down around 2%, $NVDA dropped roughly 6%, and $BTC took the biggest hit, sliding as much as 17%. After an incredible run of 9 consecutive weeks higher, investors finally decided to lock in profits, leading to broad-based selling across multiple asset classes.
The big question now is whether this marks the start of a larger correction and a more sustained risk-off move, or if it was simply a healthy pullback after an extended rally. Markets rarely move in a straight line, and after such a strong advance, some profit-taking was almost inevitable. At the same time, sharp declines can sometimes trigger further selling if sentiment begins to shift.
For now, all eyes are on next week. Will buyers step back in and push markets to fresh highs, or is this the first sign that a deeper correction is underway? Either way, the coming sessions should give us a much clearer picture of the market’s next direction.
What do you thin? Is this the beginning of a bigger selloff, or just a temporary shakeout before the uptrend resumes?
Funfact:One of the few titles that ended the week green was $BRK.B, Berkshire very robust!
