McDonalds rises after Q4 numbers despite weaker US business

Mixed numbers

While the US business saw a weak quarter with sales declining -1%, the International unit saw growth of +4% though, which overcompensated the struggling US market. To sum it up Investors are relieved that at least the earnings report was not a complete dissapointment and are sending the stock higher.

Longer term the Fast Food giant is still looking very strong with a 10Y return of more than +200%, outperforming the S&P500 Index by thirty percentage points. In addition they are paying an increasing dividend. I am holding my position and stacking regularly via DCA.
