Dissappointing
Has Disney losts his magic? If we look at the chart it is pretty obvious. The stock delivered literally no return over the past decade with a tiny 1.5 percent. Ok, in between they paid a bit of dividend but compared to the return of the S&P index that’s nothing. The US market rose +180% during the past ten years.
The reasons for this desaster are various: bad management, Covid, unprofitable streaming business, high investment costs.
Question is if the can achieve a turnaround. Potential is there but the risks are too.
