Weekly Hive Savings Update - 12/08/2024

Hello Hive Community!

It's time for another update on my Hive savings journey. This past week has been packed with development work, investments, and a little bit of strategic Hive management. Here’s a look at my latest progress and activities.

My Hive Goals

• Hive Power Target: 7500 HP
• HBD Target: 1500 HBD

Current Status

• Hive Power Progress
  • Current Hive Power: 6529 HP
  • To Go: 971 HP

This week, I’ve managed to increase my Hive Power from 6440 HP to 6529 HP. Every step forward counts, and I’m getting closer to that 7500 HP goal.

• HBD (Hive-Backed Dollars) Progress
  • Current HBD Saved: 1137 HBD
  • To Go: 363 HBD

My HBD savings have also seen a nice increase from 1111.111 HBD to 1137 HBD. This includes the monthly HBD savings interest payout, even though the APR has been lowered to 15%. It’s still a decent boost, and I’m not complaining!

• Delegated Hive Power:
  • Current: 4510 HP (slightly up from 4508 HP on 05/08/2024)
• Liquid Hive:
  • Current: 664 Hive (up from 570 Hive on 05/08/2024)
• HBD (Saved):
  • Current: 1137 HBD (up from 1111.111 HBD on 05/08/2024)

Recent Activities

• Development Work - INDEED Bot: I’ve been heads down in development this week, focusing on the INDEED bot. It’s been exciting to see this project take shape alongside the ongoing work on The BBH Project.
• Increased Posting Activity: I’ve ramped up my posting this week, which is bringing in more Hive and HBD. Every little bit helps to inch closer to my goals.
• HBD Savings Interest: This week also saw the monthly payout of the HBD savings interest. Although the APR has been reduced to 15%, it’s still a valuable source of passive income.
• Buying the Dip: I couldn’t resist taking advantage of the recent market dip. While I didn’t go all-in, I did make a small investment that I believe will pay off in the long run.
• Delegation Cleanup (Still Pending!): I still haven’t gotten around to cleaning out my delegation list. It’s a task I know I need to tackle soon, but maybe I’ll just focus on earning plenty more HP instead. Why not both?

Action Items

• Tidy Up Delegations: It’s time to prioritize cleaning up my old delegations to ensure everything aligns with my current strategy.
• Continue Development Work: I’ll keep pushing forward with the INDEED bot and other ongoing projects to bring more value to the Hive community.
• Balance Investments: I’ll continue to split my investments between powering up, HBD savings, and Layer 2 tokens, ensuring a balanced approach to growth.
